Program Overview

Food and Beverage services offer some of the best opportunities of employment in the tourism industry.  You will be trained how to professionally set and wait tables in our own fine-dining training restaurant, and gain knowledge on the basics of restaurant operations.

Award: ASEAN Level 1, Certificate II in Food and Beverage Service – Guest Services

Skills acquired by the end of the program:

  • Broad knowledge of culinary culture and the “Arts of the table”
  • Identify local and foreign products; apply different service techniques
  • Take orders, explain menus, recommend wines, pair food with wine 
  • Prepare hot and cold beverages, mix cocktails and mocktails 
  • Apply the rules of universal hygiene, health and workplace safety
  • Communicate and interact with people from diverse cultures
  • Present bills and collect money correctly

Careers: Across the food and beverage industry, such as restaurants, hotels, cafes, clubs, resorts, food courts, on cruise ships, and in food catering industries.
